We will start from Swineford Picnic site and climb up to Upton Chaney before heading off towards the Lansdown battlefields area. Looping round on Cotswold way to Prospect stile with great views (weather dependent.) Then descend and a short ascent up to Kelston hill, more panoramic views before turning towards North Stoke and Swineford.
There is some steep and uneven ground, and almost guaranteed mud. There are footpaths green lanes and bridleways on the route. A couple of awkward stiles.
PLEASE NOTE: Please contact leader before the walk. Walk leader will NOT be at the usual Aztec west meet point. You will be met at Swineford Picnic area.

Swineford picnic site From A431 from west the picnic area is well signed, turn Left just before the Swan Pub. There is a short narrow lane leading to the car park.
