A circular walk from the Leicestershire village of Swinford heading east and then north through a wind farm almost to Walcote then turning south through Shawell Wood and under the M1 before picking up a disused rail route around Shawell and returning westwards to Swinford.
A flattish walk crossing arable and grazing land with some large pools and mud requiring deviations around. A mixture of kissing gates and stiles, some of the latter are in poor condition and require care in crossing.
