We'll catch the 09:46 Blue (Halfway) Tram from Castle Square as far as the Beighton/Drake House Lane stop. Follow paths to Rother Valley Country Park and then walk round the lakes there, before heading off towards Killamarsh following part of the Cuckoo Way along paths and trackbeds before finding our way to the Halfway Tram Terminus for the journey back to Sheffield.

If it's more convenient cars can be parked at the Halfway Park & Ride and the 10:15 tram caught from there to the Beighton stop for the 10:25 start to the walk.

Most of the walk is along tarmacced pavements, although the woodland sections may be rougher. Just one stile, two gates and a number of 'A' frames to negotiate.
