Overview

Members of Cornwall Ramblers are organising a Tamara Trail walk in 2025, see full details here: https://www.ramblers.org.uk/go-walking/events/tamara-way-provisional-details

Established in July 2023 this varied coast to coast path traces the historic boundary between Cornwall and Devon. There is space for a maximum of 25 people to walk the trail in 8 stages from Plymouth to Morwenstow. The trail will be split into 3 sections each run by a different leader. You may reserve one, two or all three sections by emailing Anne Jones at annej.caswwalks@gmail.com .

Anne will respond confirming if a place is available plus an information sheet that includes detail on how to pay. Individual days cannot be reserved, only 2-3 day sections. See information below.

The booking fee(s) to pay for the coaches are: section 1- £50, section 2- £50, Section 3- £30. Your place will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Walkers will have the option of staying locally overnight: in Plymouth, Launceston and Bude.

This walk is from Bere Ferrers to Gunnislake and includes a train ride over the Tamar River because we are not allowed to walk across the bridge. It is possible that a ferry may be in operation by this date.
