Overview

A pleasant walk in the countryside between Thornbury and the Severn. Varied terrain using a mix of footpaths, tracks and some lane walking. We will touch the fringes of Littleton Upon Severn and pass through the pretty hamlet of Cowhill, but the walk is much in the country side, with no facilities to speak of.  Lunch will be at St Arilda Church, Oldbury on the Hill, with lovely views of the river and surrounding countryside. The area is mainly flat, but with some undulation. There are either 5 or 7 stiles, depending on the route on the day, none of them particularly awkward.
