An 8.5 mile walk from Hartshorne Church Hall car park on Manchester Lane. Through a variety of woodland and forest terrain. Paths are mixed, some good forest tracks, some forest and field paths, could be muddy. We start out along the National Forest Way then skirt around Daniel Hayes into the Oaklands, through the Scaddows and on to Foremark Reservoir for lunch. Toilets available here. After lunch we rejoin the National Forest Way for our return to Hartshorne.
Trees, trees and more trees with a few brambles. Weather permitting a few lovely views…it was foggy when we recced it!
