Overview

Gradual descent through scrubland, woodland and open fields brings us to the village of Boughspring. Following a gentle ascent to Offa's Dyke Path there are fine views of the Severn Estuary. Turning north we pass through well-wooded & forestry track sections of the Dyke Path and after a short, stiff climb and brief descent reach the splendid viewpoint of the Devil's Pulpit high above Tintern and the River Wye. Return to the start point is by way of the impressive heathland of The Park.
