We are the Rochdale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a moderate walk with a number of stiles, uneven ground which could be slippy, muddy stretches and several inclines. There is one tricky stream crossing. The walk includes scenic Gorpley Clough with several waterfalls and there are pleasant paths through fields in the second part. There are some lovely views and a short canal walk at the start. It's a very varied and rewarding walk.
Please be aware that dogs (with the exception of Assistance Dogs) are not allowed on our walks.
Meet outside Todmorden Town Hall, Halifax Road. There are a number of paying and free car parks in Todmorden plus on street parking. Please be aware that the car park in Stansfield Road where we have previously met up now charges for parking.
