Overview

Walk from the Two Bridges Hotel to Crockern Tor, Littaford Tor and Longaford Tor, drop down to cross the Weir just past Wistman's Wood. We will then walk along the Devonport Leat, passing through a beautiful forest section and down through further woods by the West Dart River .

Muddy and boggy sections and uneven ground. Weir to cross but should be do-able. Poles recommended but not obligatory. A few stiles.

Car park opposite The Two Bridges Hotel. (free), if no spaces Hotel happy for us to park if we obtain a drink, refreshment.

We will stop for coffee and lunch
