A circular walk taking in many sights and sounds of London staying close to the River Thames throughout. From London Bridge station we head towards the river and cross over the Thames at Tower Bridge and follow the north side of the river using the Thames path. The path traverses the historic maritime area of Wapping via the Limehouse Basin eventually reaching the new London Docklands around Canary Wharf. From here we find our way our way through the modern skyline to the banks of the river once more. From here we go under the river via the Greenwich Foot tunnel to Greenwich where there is plenty to see. After an exploration of Greenwich we once more pick up the Thames path on the southern side of the Thames for the return to London Bridge station via Surrey Quays.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending.
