We enter Guildford town from Pewley Hill - panoramic view across to Guildford Cathedral - then we will stop for coffee in the Castle Gardens before making our way down to the River Wey. We will stop for lunch at St Catherine's Lock. Our return route takes us past Shalford Mill and up to Chantry Woods - we follow an undulating path through the trees. Finally we pass St Martha's Church and back to the car park. Our pace will be moderate for the most part - approx. 2.5mph - reducing on the uphill sections.
