We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk through the old parish of Little Amwell (Hertford Heath) and on to Great Amwell. On the route we pass Haileybury College where we turn to go through Goldings Wood and into the parish of Great Amwell. A tour through the village, passing the church, and make our way to the New River path. We then pass through Post Wood and make our way to the route of Ermine Street (Roman Rd)
Meet on The Green opposite The Goat PH after parking considerately alongside the road around the green. The Goat will be closed due to holidays. There are 2 other pubs, The College Arms and The Silver Fox, in the village. Further details will be available on the day.
