Overview

On the western periphery of The Black Mountain, these 2 quarries command the landscape with their stark rocky profiles. After 2 stiff climbs, explore close up these enchanting rockscapes backdropped by striking views.

A mix of rough moorland and country lanes. 2 stiles (twice) and a few natural obstacles, as well as boggy patches and mud.

Dogs welcome though there are 2 stiles to cross. Short lead please, sheep on moor.
