On the western periphery of The Black Mountain, these 2 quarries command the landscape with their stark rocky profiles. After 2 stiff climbs, explore close up these enchanting rockscapes backdropped by striking views.

A mix of rough moorland and country lanes. No stiles but a few natural obstacles, as well as boggy patches and mud.

Dogs welcome on a short lead, sheep on moor.
