Overview

From the car park we will walk up to the village of  North Stoke and then across fields to Upton Cheyney. We will walk down to Bitton where we follow the Monarchs Way across fields to meet the River Avon and follow the river along to the Swan at Swineford where we can have an optional drink on the way back to the cars.

There are a few muddy places and uneven tracks, sticks would be recommended.  There are also some fields with livestock.

We will have a rest stop so please bring a drink and snacks.
