Overview

Parking in the layby  we leave Bainton walking past the church we walk down Neswick Lane to pick up the Minster Way footpath to Bracken, where we will have our coffee break, we continue to Kilnwick via the wood at Cawkeld for our lunch stop at the play park, where there are benches and seating areas. Dogs must be kept off the park area here. We head back to Bainton via Wedding Wood/Burn Butts to rejoin the green lane and Neswick Lane/Bainton.
