We are the Tendring District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circumnavigation of Bury St Edmunds starting from Skyliner Sports Centre where free parking and toilets are available.
We will walk around Bury St Edmunds primarily on metaled local paths and a few grassy paths. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase lunch and refreshments en route (Tesco x 2). Picnic lunch will be in the beautiful Abbey Gardens where there is also a cafe

Note the later start time of 10:30 to allow for travel time. Please be aware that there are substantial long term roadworks on the A14 near Stowmarket which may cause some delays to your journey so allow yourself plenty of travel time.
