Leaving Gladestry, we have a long ascent via Offa's Dyke Path up to the monkey puzzle trees on Hergest Ridge. Then a steep drop down to go round Hanter Hill and return via Weythel and Llan Howell.
Lovely countryside, hills and valleys, quiet paths and lanes.
One short steep ascent on the return. Great views.

Gladestry. Park tightly in the long layby on RHS of B4594 just as you reach the village. Please note we have been asked not to use the Village Hall car park as it is being used for funeral parking that day. Other parking is in the village, or in another layby a short distance along the road to Newchurch. Exp 201
