Overview

This is a walk to replace the one that I had to cancel on 8th. August. We begin by walking south by Hebden Beck to Mill Bridge and west on the Dales Way which is a delightful route following the River Wharfe to Linton Falls and onwards passing Ghaistrills Strid to the lane. Here we cross the road and enter the woods at Grass Wood Nature Reserve where we walk on paths and tracks and into Bastow Wood where we eventually emerge to open ground with some good views. Walking south on grassy paths we pick up the Dales Way to Grassington and on to Hebden via High Lane, fields and meadows with a few wall stiles to negotiate on the way.
