Overview

A walk along the cycle trail and quiet Devon lanes towards Eggworthy before joining the moor towards Routrundle, Sharpitor and Peek Hill, returning through Peek Hill plantation. If the weather is clear, there will be plenty of fabulous views across Devon countryside and moorland towards tors and Burrator Reservoir.

Mix of lanes and moorland walking on tracks and paths. Muddy in a couple of places. Uphill from Eggworthy to almost the top of Sharpitor before levelling out to cross to Peek Hill. Steep descent from Peek Hill - recommend walking poles for this bit if you use them. Couple of stiles, including a ladder stile.

Bring a drink for our coffee stop.
