(Brought forward from August due to clashing event at Towneley park).
A varied walk through the beautiful parkland of Burnley’s Towneley Park from where we’ll ascend to Burnley Golf Course and then Crown Point with its Panopticons sculpture, The Singing Ringing Tree, and excellent views (at least on a clear day!). After our lunch break at Crown Point, we’ll head downhill until we reach the hamlet of Walk Mill from where we will re-enter Towneley Park and return to the car park. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on their leads.
Ramblers members please remember to show your membership card or Phone Ap. (Otherwise, if not a Ramblers member please book a place via Hike on Lancashire on Meetup - suggested donation of £2)
