We are the Sandwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A varied walk which includes three scenic villages where thatched cottages line narrow lanes and small greens. The walk takes you across fields and pass through parts of emerging Heart of England forest. Extensive new woods and copses have been established and ponds and barns have been restored
The walk starts in front of The Bell Inn in Welford CV37 8EB. There is street parking in Church Lane just below the Bell Inn or by Welford on Avon Primary School on Headland Road CV37 8ER. Park as near to the church as possible. The parking on Headland Road is only 5 minutes walk to the walk starting point. 40 miles from West Bromwich.
