Meet at Welwyn North station at 10:00. There is a train departing Finsbury Park at 09:33 (platform 7/8) arriving at Welwyn North at 10:00.
Toilets are available at Finsbury Park, on the train and at Welwyn North station.
AM: Walk from Welwyn North to Hertford (7.5 miles).
Lunch at Hertingfordbury. Picnic lunch or eat in at 'The White Horse'.

There is a nearby recreation ground with benches where a picnic lunch can be eaten.
From Hertingfordbury we will then walk 1.5 miles to Herford East rail station, with trains returning to Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street. Next Saturday there are changes to the train schedule. Trains from Hertford/Ware will involve changing at Broxbourne, then taking a train to Seven Sisters or Liverpool Street.
PM: Time permitting, walk from Hertford to Ware along the Lea Navigation canal (2.5 miles), returning to London from Ware rail station.
The walk follows footpaths, bridleways, a disused railway line and the Lea Navigation canal. There are gentle hills, no difficult stiles. If raining it may be muddy in parts. Wear walking boots and bring walking poles if required.

Single Finsbury Park to Welwyn North. Cost £11.00. Apply railcards as required.
Single Hertford/Ware to Seven Sisters. Cost £13.20. Apply railcards as required.
From London, train from Finsbury Park to Welwyn North departing 09:33 arriving 10:00.
Train from Hertford East to Tottenham Hale at 12 and 42 minutes past each hour. Train from Ware to Tottenham Hale at 16 and 46 minutes past each hour.
