We are the Clevedon Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
All aboard!! We start with a ride on the steam train to Crowcombe Heathfield Station from Williton Station.
Crowcombe station sits by the highest point on the West Somerset Railway, just 400m feet above sea level. From here we head towards Stogumber Station and back to Williton Station following footpaths across fields, along quite roads and tracks running next to the railway for the majority of the time. The walk is relatively flat and no stiles.
Train Tickets to be purchase at the ticket office on arrival or on the train.
Refreshments can be brought at all stations. Stogumber Stations offers cream teas and snacks. You can bring your own packed lunch and sit in the ground if you wish. PLEASE STILL BRING SNACKS AND A DRINK JUST IN CASE!!
Dogs are most welcome, but will have to be put on leads through live stock.
