Largely flat walk taking in part of the Severn Way, Longney and the Gloucester Sharpness canal. Few roads, footpaths across fields, some stiles, could be muddy in places. One stop - bring snack and coffee. Option to purchase ice creams at the end of the walk.
NB Sellars bridge (by the Pilot) is closed on the date of our walk, there are alternative routes via Rea bridge (approaching from Gloucester) & Fretherne bridge Frampton on Severn (approaching from Stroud & the south).
Moderate pace, terrain 2 hilly and level mix. Additional Maps: L162/E179.
