We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people aged in their 40s, 50s & 60s who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.
Since HWW was founded, we have started walks from every postcode in Hertfordshire, except two of which this is the penultimate one (SG6).
We start from the village green in Wllian next to The Fox. This rural walk takes us cross country towards Weston and circles around Graveley. We pass the private airstrip before returning, passing Roxley Court, an old convent. On our return, we can enjoy refreshments in The Fox
Please park with consideration around the village.
Dogs are welcome but will need to be on leads on some road walking stretches.
This is a moderate pace walk. We want everyone to enjoy our walks, if you have any concerns about the pace please speak to the walk leader. Please bring your Ramblers card (if you have one) to help speed up the Ramblers register before we start the walk.
Meet on the village green next to The Fox on Willian Road SG6 2AE Please leave enough time to park before the walk. Parking can be found along Willian Church Road (it loops around the back of the church) , in front of The Three Horseshoes, along the main Willian Road or around the village.
