Overview

A lovely 5.5 mile walk from Winchcombe up to the ancient burial tomb of Belas Knap. It is quite a big climb but the rewards are beautiful scenery and great views plus a little bit of history. Nearly all of it is on good paths and tracks and though the climb and descent are quite long, none of it is particularly steep. There are a few stiles and we will likely meet some sheep, but cattle are unlikely. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.

Bring refreshments for a snack break.
