Overview

This is a fine walk around the Tunstall Valley.

Climbing up above Wolsingham to Park Wall and High Jofless, we should have wonderful views of Weardale before descending to Tunstall Reservoir.  We follow a permissive path through the ancient woodland of Backstone Bank Wood before regaining open fields with views down to Baal Hill Wood and Waskerley Beck as we return to Wolsingham.
