Overview

This is a circular walk taking in May Hill with its incredible views including the Severn Estuary, Welsh mountains and our Malvern hills. Much of the walk is through woods, so cool if we’re lucky enough to get a warm day! We start with a long gradual climb along the edge of some woods which will take us to the top of May Hill, a great place for our coffee stop. We then descend slowly and work our way back through Newent Wood, passing a tranquil lake with lots of water lilies. There is almost no road walking, and only about 2 stiles, and the option of lunch and/or a drink in the pub to refresh us afterwards. Please bring mid-morning refreshment and plenty of water if it’s a hot day.

Booking essential for this walk, and when booking please state whether or not you will stay for lunch (no need to book in advance for a drink)
