Overview

Mark the shortest day of the year with this lovely walk through varied landscapes, starting at the Sussex Wildlife Trust's Woods Mill reserve. From there we will walk south through farmland and Tottington Woods, then climbing up to the South Downs Way where we get great views of the coast. Passing Truleigh Hill and the YHA hostel, we drop back down via Edburton Hill and have a picnic lunch in the Edburton churchyard looking back at the South Downs. From there we will make our way back to Woods Mill passing through Oreham.
