Overview

From Wooler, up over the fields and along the road to High Humbleton, round Humbleton Hill to St Cuthbert’s Way and down to Wooler Common, along minor road to Yearle and back along a dry glacial valley, past Yearle Quarry, the Pin Well and King’s Chair and down into the centre of Wooler.
The walk offers varied landscapes and superb panoramic views.

Mainly good, well-marked moorland tracks, including part of St Cuthbert’s Way and some minor roads. There is, however, a long rather overgrown path towards the end of the walk with thick vegetation on either side, so shorts are not recommended!
