Overview

We will start the walk east along the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath before turning north at Froud's Bridge Marina towards Beenham. We then head west, passing by Douai Abbey and on to Midgham Green. From there we follow the road south through Midgham and back over the A4 and the railway line where we turn east along the towpath back towards The Rowbarge.

If we've had rain it will be muddy in places so come prepared. There are a few short inclines but otherwise the route is fairly flat with a mixture of footpaths and, hopefully, quiet roads.
