It follows the canal to the Barton Swing Bridge and aqueduct. 3.5M/6KM (It's possible to leave the walk here.) Next part of the walk follows the beginning of section 8 of the Salford Trail which takes us along roads to Eccles where there are good facilities and transport links. 1M/1.5KM
