Overview

Parking at the Village Hall if space is available, £2 per car and meeting on the Village Green.

We will walk down Main Street and join the Ebor Way, which we will follow across the fields and up Primrose Hill to join Mowthorpe Lane. We will then head south to the fishing ponds. From here we will climb out of the valley and head across the fields and join the main road. Half a mile road walking will bring us to Ganthorpe where will have lunch.

After lunch we will walk down Sleigh Lane to Mowthorpe Dale and then join the Centenary Way and walk up to High Stittenham. After High Stittenham we will walk through the woods and down Stittenham Hill back across the fields to Sheriff Hutton.

10 miles moderate walk. 3 ascents not sure how high !!!
