What we do
Footpath work - protecting the places we all love to walk
North Wales Ramblers are committed to protecting the footpaths in North Wales. We are actively working to ensure that the area has a good quality network of footpaths. We are proud of our achievements in protecting and improving the rights of way in North Wales. We are committed to ensuring that the paths are open and continually improved.
Paths and access - What we do
-
We report problems and follow them up;
-
We discuss possible diversions with landowners, councils and other interested parties;
-
Our volunteers do practical work to improve the network;
-
We propose improvements to paths and open spaces and help find funds;
-
We object to any proposals that we believe are detrimental to the public, the beauty of the countryside or the environment;
-
We have regular meetings with the County Councils to ensure that work is carried out and that footpath budgets are protected.
