Walking in North Wales
North Wales – one of the most varied and stunning places for walking – covers the Snowdonia National Park and three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Anglesey/Ynys Môn coast, the Llyn Peninsula and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley. We have wonderful coastlines and mountains; quiet rural areas; history; culture; wildlife and habitats.
North Wales Ramblers are committed to helping everyone, local or visitors, to be able to enjoy exploring this wonderful area. Visit our website https://www.ramblersnorthwales.org.uk
Gogledd Cymru-un o’r ardaloedd mwyaf amrywiol ac ysblennydd i gerddwyr. Mae’n cynnwys Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri a thair ardal o Harddwch Naturiol Eithriadol – arfordir Môn, Pen Llŷn, a bryniau Clwyd a Dyffryn Dyfrdwy.
Mae gennym arfordiroedd a mynyddoedd gwych; ardaloedd gwledig tawel; hanes; diwylliant; bywyd gwyllt a chynefinoedd. Rydym eisiau i’r bobl sy’n byw yma, yn ogystal â’r ymwelwyr, allu mwynhau archwilio’r ardal hyfryd hon. Mae yna fwy o wybodaeth ar ein gwefan dwyieithog. https://www.ramblersnorthwales.org.uk/cy/.
Our walking community
Our Area and Groups help protect the places we all love to walk. We look after paths and green spaces, open up new places to explore and act as the leading voice on walking matters near you.
We also work with and support our local groups. We can help you to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.
"What we do" below has more details of our path work.
Come and walk with us
Most years, North Wales Ramblers groups offer a varied programme of over 600 guided walks. These are led by Ramblers volunteer members. We have walks to suit all tastes. New or potential members are welcome on all our walks.
Many of our groups also have social activities such as meals out; coach trips; weekends away and longer holidays. We support and organise walks as part of local festivals.
