Walking in and around Bodmin Moor

The Caradon Ramblers takes our name from Caradon Hill, the centre of a thriving copper and tin mining industry in the 19th Century. Our walks explore the remains of ruined industrial sites, Neolithic stone circles, early Christian crosses, splendid churches, not forgetting our stunning coastal walks and secluded glades.

Join our walking community

Join us for walks of 3 to 5 hours, usually planned for Sundays, with a shorter Thursday walk once a month. Thursday walks often end with a pub lunch.

We are a very friendly group, typically 12 to 20 strong. Many like to chat whilst walking, but there is plenty of space for solo contemplation.
