Walking in the Conwy Valley
Welcome to the Conwy Valley Ramblers. We organise a range of walks in the Conwy Valley and beyond to help people enjoy walking – from short walks to mountain tops and trips away to explore other areas.
We are fortunate to live in a beautiful area with lots of wonderful places to walk: famous beauty spots; quiet paths and hillsides; mountains; lakes; valleys and coastline, wildlife and history are all around us.
Joining our walking community
Joining the Ramblers is a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
We welcome visitors from the local area and further away. We encourage newer members to have a go at leading and provide support and training for leaders and members.
Our website at http://www.conwyvalleyra.org.uk contains details of our walks, trips and other information. There are also photos from our walks so you can get a glimpse of some of the stunning scenery our area has to offer.
We hope to see you on a walk soon!
Volunteering in the Conwy Valley
We work with other local organisations to protect the places we love to walk. A group of our members work with Conwy Council on footpath work. You can get involved to as a volunteer and also by reporting stiles that are broken or paths that are blocked. Send an email here to report any problems. or report problems directly to Conwy Council erf@conwy.gov.ukerf@conwy.gov.uk
