Walking in and around Erewash
Our group helps people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk.
We were established in 1981 and most of our walks are in the Erewash area, Derbyshire or neighbouring counties.
We are a friendly and welcoming bunch and we all enjoy the benefits of getting outside, making new friends and discovering how walking boosts your health and happiness.
In addition to our outdoor activities, we arrange day trips away and we organise walking holidays in the spring and autumn months.
Our walks
All our walks are guided by a walk leader along safe and accessible routes throughout the year.
We typically walk 8 to 10 miles every other Sunday, 4 to 5 miles the alternate Saturday, 6 to 7 miles on every other Monday 5 to 6 miles on the alternate Thursday and 3 to 4 miles every Wednesday.
Our walks start at 10:30 (unless otherwise stated) and details of where to meet, car parking arrangements and anything else of note is all provided on our website’s Walks page. There is no need to book, but each walk has the leader’s name and contact information detailed should you want any more information.
