What we do
Social events
Including, but certainly not limited to: online Monopoly and Cluedo nights, Burns themed walk and poetry, city centre strolls, late café lunches after a walk, Christmas meals, New Year's Eve fireworks and drinks, regular pub meetups in Dundee, booking out an entire youth hostel for ourselves and using it as a base for exploring the mountains over a long weekend, boat trips to the islands, pub quizzes, bothy adventure weekends, and a heavy appreciation for baked goods.
Wild swimming
Whenever and wherever we can, if the aquatic-minded walkers are with us, we will contemplate getting a dip in! In the summer, we might plan the odd wild swim-centred hike, where we can walk to a particularly famous or beautiful swimming spot. Away weekends, at any time of year, will see some sort of loony dooking going on.
Bike and Hike
In the summer, we have bike and hike adventures taking place. These allow for a great sense of achievement in the adventure, the extra miles covered and the beautiful sights seen.
Learning
You can learn some new skills! We are lucky enough to have mountain guides amongst our group, who occasionally provide navigation and winter mountain skills training to our members.
