Thurrock Ramblers is a small friendly group in South Essex. You will always receive a warm welcome from our experienced walk leaders and you are very welcome to come on one or two walks before deciding whether to join the Ramblers
We arrange walks most Sundays as well as Wednesday evenings during the summer months. Sunday walks are typically from 8 to 10 miles and include a pub stop where possible. Most walks take place in Essex and Kent although we do occasionally venture further afield. Wednesday evening walks are typically around 4 miles and are within Thurrock.
We arrange Coach Rambles which in recent years have included Dover, Eastbourne, Windsor, Broadstairs and Brighton. These cater for non-walking partners/friends. We also arrange walking holidays both in the UK and abroad and have occasional social events.
