Overview

Join us to walk in the countryside around Baughurst, through managed woodland, rare heathland, fields, water meadows and sometimes we cut through the golf course and skirt around a lake or two and walk on very quiet, narrow country roads and footpaths. There is plenty of wildlife, ancient meadows and beautiful wild flowers, including snowdrops, bluebells and orchids. Some views towards Watership Down. We finish our walk at a very welcoming cafe with toilet facilities which always reserves a table for us. Conditions can be very muddy in Baughurst some of the fields and water meadows can be very wet so please wear waterproof shoes at all times. There are a few short hills which walkers always take at their own pace.
