Overview

Join this social weekend morning walk to get out in the fresh air, help boost your wellbeing and meet new people. A chance to walk in the local countryside including the Little Acre Fen Pocket Park.  

This walk starts at the bandstand in the town, going through the town and out to the countryside on the pocket park circular route. Before heading back into town and back to the bandstand again. The route includes Victoria Street, Huntington Road, London Road, Park Street, West Street and Westbourne Road. 

There are uneven, off road grassy and gravel tracks on this walk which may be muddy with puddles. Some roads/areas do not have paths, and road crossings are required.

This walk welcomes friendly, well behaved dogs on a lead (the owners responsibility at all times). 

This walk goes every first Sunday of the month. 

Nearest car park is the Church Lane car park. There are no toilet facilities.
