A walk through the village of Coltishall, alongside Bure Valley Miniature Railway, passing 'Patterson Lodge' then along the River Bure footpath to Horstead Mill which was gutted by fire on 23rd January 1963, only the foundations remain. The crossing over Coltishall Lock, which stopped functioning as a navigational structure after the 1912 floods. The walk the goes along the other side of the Bure, across the Common to Piece of Cake for refreshments. Toilets available in cafe. Grade 3 walk - 3.4 miles
