Starting at the Quay car park, taking the footpath up into the woods, passing the small chapel, then continuing uphill until turning back to pass through the upper carp parks and joining the road away from the house, before taking the gate on the left down through the woods to the river and back to the quay.

Be aware that paths may be muddy and uneven and conditions may change, so wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing. A walking stick is useful too. Also consider  bringing a drink and snack, should you require it, especially on longer walks.

We like to have time for a cuppa afterwards, either at a local café, pub or at the Tamar Valley Centre, whichever is most convenient
