Overview

Join Liz McInnes, local councillor and active member of the Friends of Whitaker park group for an easy paced walk in the beautiful surroundings of the park. The walk follows good paths that wind through beautifully landscaped gardens. There are some inclines but benches are situated around the park for a quick pit stop. Breathe in the fresh air and listen to the birds as you clock up your weekly steps. Discover the history of Whitaker House and learn about the local plans for the park. Liz McInnes has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and can share information about local gardening opportunities in the park alongside future plans for the area.
