A Better Medway are offering an entry level walking program called Walk in the Park starting from the outdoor gym equipment on a Wednesday at 11am at Choir Close.

These walks are an ideal way to increase your activity levels regardless of your age or ability.

The friendly and local walking groups are being delivered across Medway so you can enjoy your local green spaces and meet new people.

You are encouraged to walk at your own pace and there are plenty of opportunities for you to stop and rest if you need to.

The routes are circular so you don’t have to keep up with anyone, and the group meets at the beginning and end allowing you the opportunity to have a chat with the group if you want to.

The walks can take anywhere between 10 and up to around 30 minutes so you get to decide what feels right for you.

Access to the program of walks are free, and we are always happy to discuss volunteering opportunities to support you local group.
