Join us for an enjoyable wellbeing walk around Barton under Needwood. The large village in Staffordshire, a mile from the A38 between Burton upon Trent and Lichfield. Barton’s wellbeing walks take in the sights of the pretty village, the local countryside and the marina set on the Trent & Mersey Canal, where there is an abundance of narrow boats moored up. Whilst walking around the marina you will see how it has grown, offering shops, restaurants, cafes and the Red Carpet Cinema, somewhere you will definitely want to revisit on another day. Depending on the weather the walks may be slightly muddy underfoot, uneven and on slight inclines. All of our walks are led by Volunteer Leaders, toilet facilities available and refreshments at the Marina Café.
Our wellbeing walks are all free and take place every week except Bank Holidays, rain or shine. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing (depending on the weather). Comfortable sturdy shoes and please bring a bottle of water.
