Overview

Please join us for a gentle stroll starting from the meeting point at the Open Air Theatre kiosk Peasholm. We take a route which takes us past the minature railway, we often give a wave and a smile to those passing us. We carry on through the OAT following the path down to the promenade. Turning right we head past the colourful beach huts on the right and the beach and North Bay on our left. There are opportunities to just stop and admire the view and take photos or to have a rest. When reaching the end of the beach huts, we get to the Sands resort. We ensure that people walk at the pace that suits them, whilst encouraging people to chat and make new friends. A coffee in the cafe at the end of the walk is also a time for people to relax and find out about our next walk.
