Overview

Join our friendly Stepping Out group for a wellbeing walk along the South Bay, passing the amusement arcades, cafes and shops on the seafront. We then continue past the historic Grand Hotel and onto Scarborough Spa. Throughout the walk there are fabulous views across the South Bay looking towards Cayton Bay and Filey7 Brigg or back towards Scarborough Castle. The walk is along footpaths which are mostly level but there is a small incline in one place. This is quite an exposed walk depending on the weather so suitable clothing advised.

Half way we stop for refreshments at Farrer’s Bar & Restaurant where there are toilets available and then we retrace our steps back to our starting point of the Lifeboat House.

There is parking available on street and in car parks nearby.
