We will meet together outside the West Oxford Community Centre, where there are toilets and parking (OX2 0BT). From there we will head up the Thames Path towards Port Meadow. The path is a flat, gravel path with several benches on the way. There are a couple of small slopes over bridges and these all have handrails. From the path we can see the river and the side stream, home to a big variety of plants and animals. Its is a beautiful path which is different throughout the seasons. When we get to Fiddler's Island the path opens up onto Port Meadow with its big skies, we walk across the end of the meadow and back along the historic Oxford Canal.
The walk ends back at the West Oxford Community Centre where we will have a hot drink, a chat and maybe a biscuit!
